For Makoko Lagos, we documented life in the floating community on Lagos’s lagoon, home to as many as 250,000 people. Once a small fishing village, it now thrives on waterways where residents travel by canoe, trade on the water and navigate daily challenges without clean water, electricity or proper waste disposal. Our footage captures the bustle of canoe traffic and the resilience of its families.
